It is ultrasonic inspection unit for weld zones of stainless pipes. The defect in the pipe weld can be judged by an easy operation. Using ultrasonic waves, inspections isn't only carried out visually but WELDSONIC makes it possible to inspect for internal defects in weld. Supported pipe diameters: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch.

Application
For non-destructive inspection of the gas supply pipes used in semiconductor facilities and nuclear power plants.
Features
1. Can be used for welds in austenitic stainless steel.
2. Applicable for small-caliber pipes with diameters of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch.
3. The ultrasonic probe automatically rotates and measures along pipe welds.
4. Displays "Normal" or "Defect" as the inspection result based on a pattern diagram.
5. Stores up to 500 inspection results on a memory card and Inspection results canbe downloaded to a computer.
6. Connection points and inspection results can be managed using a bar code reader.
